Students Learning Outcomes (SLOs) covered:
- Construct a cumulative frequency table, cumulative frequency polygon, and cumulative frequency curve (ogive).
- Interpret quartiles, deciles, percentiles, and inter-quartile range (IQR) from a cumulative frequency curve.
- Interpret and analyze a box-and-whisker plot.
- Construct and interpret data from a scatter diagram, and draw a line of best fit; measure correlation.
- Calculate range, standard deviation, and variance for grouped data.
- Use the mean and standard deviation to compare two sets of data.
- Calculate the probability of combined events using sample space, possibility, tree, and Venn diagrams.
- Apply the addition law of probability (mutually exclusive events).
- Apply the multiplication law of probability (independent and dependent events).
Test Instructions: 15 questions will be randomly selected from a bank of 60 questions.
Time limit is 20 minutes. Passing marks: 40%. Each question has exactly one correct
