- Solve equations reducible to quadratic form (biquadratic, reciprocal, exponential).
- Solve simultaneous equations when one is quadratic and one is linear.
- Know the nature of roots of a quadratic equation via the discriminant.
- Find the relation between roots and coefficients of a quadratic equation.
- Define and evaluate symmetric functions of the roots of a quadratic equation.
- Form a quadratic equation when its roots are given.
